Hi All!
Las Cuevas in San Benedicto Island, our first dive of the trip offered a nice swim through dive with lots of white tip reef sharks, green sea turtles, sting rays, lobsters, eels, electric rays, a dive to get comfortable with everything!
El Cañon dive site in San Benedicto island also offered nice diving with schooling hammerhead sharks, silver tip, silky sharks, Galapagos, lots of white tip reef sharks and even a tiger shark besides number of fish decorating the whole area.
Dos Hermanos dive site was also a place for a second encounter with tiger shark for a bit longer time than usual, colder water temp made fish more active, nice slow drift made possible the manta encounter at the safety stop.
Roca Partida for one day was the place for our shark dives and even Whale shark! The North end was packed with all type of fish due to colder water temperature(74℉/23.3℃) coming from depth, schooling hammerheads, silver tips, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks all together in just one area, current coming from North East made the diving interesting here! Schools of Yellow fin tunas, Bonitos, Rainbow runners, Black Jacks, of course we had the graceful company of mantas in the area.
Cabo Pearce in Socorro Island was our place for two days of diving with schooling hammerheads, mantas so friendly and dolphins encounter every dive! A dolphin petting dive put smiles in our faces!
El Boiler in San Benedicto Island, what a fantastic place, dives that can’t forget! Vis was constantly changing from 30ft/9m to 80ft/24m, water temp 79℉/26.1℃, no current made each dive enjoyable, at times even 5 mantas together a long the day, hammerheads sharks randomly appearing here and there, fish all over the rock! During second dive of the morning a group of 15 to 18 dolphins showed up for the entire dive, 50 minutes dive! mothers with calves, adult and juvenile ones, all together with mantas, so El Boiler became a cleaning station not only for mantas but dolphins too!
